SCHOOL COUNCIL

The School Council, led by Miss Wright, is made up of children from all years to help make important decisions about the school as well as suggest improvements we can make.  We have representatives from Culpeper and Eyhorne houses.  The School Council work closely with the senior leadership team in school to support key projects, such as the development of our play equipment last year.  This year, school council are going to help us improve lunchtimes and also create a sensory garden!

VIPS

VIPS are Year 6 children who are setting the example and leading the behaviour and attitudes of others.

V- Values Champion- demonstrate the school values consistently AND help others to do the same

I- Inspired Learner- excellent behaviour for learning at all times AND help others to do the same

P- Problem Solver- solves problems independently and resiliently before asking for help AND help others to do the same

VIPS can be found wearing a red fleece.

PEER MEDIATORS

We have a number of Year 6 children who are fully trained peer mediators. These children are usually found wearing their peer mediator badge. At lunch and break they can be identified because they wear a high visibility jacket. Peer mediators help other children to resolve disputes before adults need to be involved.

ECO TEAM

Our Eco team are responsible for leading the way to make the school more eco friendly. They will help us to improve our school environment inside and out too. The team are busy putting together an action plan so that we can all 'think green' and take action to help save the planet. The action plan will soon be added here.

FIFI- OUR SCHOOL DOG

Fifi is our school dog who regularly visits. Fifi comes to school with Mrs Bradley-Wyatt. Fifi is 11 years old. Her birthday is on 14th February 2012. Fifi is a mixed breed dog but is majority Yorkshire Terrier. Fifi is an affectionate dog. In school she can develop the children's self confidence and self esteem. She can also support the well being of children and staff.
